Having spent many hours shuffling aimlessly through my Color-Aid, only to run out and grab yet another stack of paint samples that is actually thicker than the stack of Color-Aid, I think I may have put together some color scores that work. It's amazing how even with the seemingly vast selection of colors in the Color-Aid set, supplemented with the also seemingly vast selection of colors from the Sutherlands paint department, there are still a gazillion colors from Munsell's system that are completely unrepresented! And to think, there are probably a gazillion more colors out there that aren't even on Munsell's tree...

..may be 'seemingly' aimless, but not aimless.
ReplyDeleteeach attempt to find and not to find is the point. the ability to distinguish is the point, finding the "right" color might seem like the goal, not finding it might prove your skills and better to the point..Yes our eyes see much more than any of the color systems we have at our disposal.
